“Tips for Improving Preaching:

A Conversation in Honor of A. N. Martin”

A note about the message numbers changing from "1" to "84": the Biblical Call section [84—94] was not a part of the original curriculum — it was introduced in later years and was inserted by Pastor Martin at this location. The lectures are laid out below exactly as they were listed in the Trinity Pulpit Catalog. The last Unit (Nos. 95-105) was likewise an additon to the course – added after the Biblical Call section was added. (Note: the numbering scheme was probably done this way because physical cassette tapes were originally distributed. Renumbering message titles would have caused confusion to those who already owned some tapes when it came time to order more. Once all eight Units were in place, Pastor Martin delivered the lectures in the top-to-bottom sequence that is layed out below. Now that cassettes are no longer used, the messages can probably be safely renumbered as simply 1 though 105 – which we may do at some point).
